With a strong foundation in biochemistry, physiology, and microbiology, Maria holds a Ph.D. from the University of Burgundy (France). After several years of dedicated work in the field of microbiota (digestive, oral, etc.) across various internationally renowned laboratories, Maria has cultivated robust expertise in this domain, coupled with a deep understanding of physiology through her work with diverse animal models. Eager and curious, Maria has enthusiastically joined Nexbiome Therapeutics in 2024 as a Project Manager in pre-clinical and clinical development.
